Why Lose Weight

Do you believe it's simple to lose weight? If you listen to the weight loss industry, you've been told over and over how easy it is--just take this pill, follow that diet or buy this piece of equipment and everything will melt away in a flash. In fact, it’s even harder for Chaldeans to lose weight. Our cultural foods and family habits have not caught up to the way we now live.

The idea behind weight loss is simple-burn more calories than you eat. This can be accomplished by replacing a couple of sodas with water and adding 20 minutes of walking each day. This sounds simple because it is, but why can't we seem to do it?

There are a number of factors that contribute to our weight gain that you already know. But it's not just about finding time to exercise or choosing the salad over the burger. It is about a genuine commitment to make healthy decisions every day of our Chaldean lives. It begins with learning of the dangers, weight gain brings to our lives and the health gained when we shed the pounds.

1. Weight loss helps you avoid heart disease, hypertension and stroke.

It is a well-known fact people who are overweight tend to have increased cholesterol. Excess cholesterol in the blood can increase the chances of getting cardiovascular diseases and stroke. When a stroke happens, some body functions might be lost because the blood flow is hindered and blood cannot reach the area that controls that function.

Several studies have proven that heart disease and stroke are the main reasons for fatality and disability in the USA. Consequently it would be reasonable to say that we may well considerably decrease these statistics by making sure that we are at our ideal weight.

2. Weight loss prevents occurrence of Type 2 Diabetes.

Researches have shown that diabetes can be associated with being overweight. Diabetes can put your health in peril due to the possible complications the disease can bring. If you have diabetes already, then exercising regularly which includes dancing, walking or jogging and controlling your weight can help maintain normal sugar levels in the blood.

3. Weight loss reduces your possibility of having cancer.

There are also researchers proving that being overweight can be associated with different types of cancer. For instance, overweight women are more prone to having colon, breast as well as ovary, uterus and cancer of the gall bladder. For men who are overweight, this may include cancer of the rectum, colon and prostate cancer.

Losing weight can boost a person’s health in numerous ways. By only losing 10% of your present weight, it can already make a difference in the way you feel everyday. Losing weight is a continuous fight that you have to deal with but the good thing to know is that it can be done. Losing weight will not only help to trim down possible health risks but will also help with increasing the confidence of the individual.
