You are invited!!

Welcome to the 2008-09 season at the Eastern Catholic Re-evangelization Center [E.C.R.C]!

We are blessed at ECRC to offer you a fresh start.   As we continue to walk side by side in our spiritual journey, we learn together in the joy of fellowship.  If you have been with us, or you are new to our programs, we invite you to step in.  We are joyfully waiting for you!!

Although we took a break throughout the summer months from weekly classes and monthly programs, we were not lazy!

Many were blessed by Vacation Bible School summer camp.  The camp was attended by 180 kids and made possible by over 80 dedicated volunteers.

The young adults of our community participated in two Kairos retreats; one for the 18-24 age group and another for the 25-30 age group.

New friendships were made and the faith of all was nourished and ignited during World Youth Day in Sydney , Australia; It was a fruitful summer indeed!

The mission of Re-evangelization is our goal from the beginning!  Our offerings provide food for our spiritual journey.

Weekly study programs include Journey Through the Bible, Bible Study in English and Arabic, and Theology classes in which we explore the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and Sacred Scriptures.  Experience any of the programs and discover the richness, beauty and treasure of our Catholic Faith, in both English and Arabic languages.

This year E.C.R.C is very excited to bring you a new concept of learning – workshops.  A workshop is a series of educational sessions.  Small groups of people meet together over a short period of time to concentrate on a defined area of interest.

The first workshop will be presented by His Excellency Bishop Ibrahim Ibrahim who will be with us for four weeks beginning Oct. 1st to take us on a journey through the history of the Chaldean Church .

To help us celebrate The Year of St. Paul – designated from June 2008 – June 2009, Dr. Martin Brenner will lead us beginning Oct. 2nd   In the Foot steps of St. Paul.

Upcoming workshops throughout the year include: Apologetics, Bible Characters, and Educating on the Nature and Dignity of Women [ENDOW] Program.

Parents – we invite you!  Bring the youth to be part of building a faith based community.  The whole family will be nourished by the Truths of our faith so we can lead a life filled with the Lord’s precepts.

High school and junior high students are invited to participate in the Chaldeans Loving Christ [CLC] Program held weekly at St.  Thomas.

Our weekly Eucharistic Adoration and Mass is vital to our mission.  We are committed to bring our labor to Him so we can be encouraged in our work for the Glory of His name.

Don’t miss our second Spiritual Conference “Awake My Soul 2008” at St. Joseph Church on September 26 & 27. Both nights will be concluded with spiritual concerts performed by Tony Melendez [in English] on Friday and Nabiha Yezbeck [in Arabic] on Saturday. Get tickets and bring the whole family!!

With more than 20 programs annually, E.C.R.C is blessed with committed, zealous lay people who oversee all these activities.  I ask you to join us in prayer for their love and dedication to evangelize. This work of God is rooted to bring souls to Christ with their “Yes!”
